Amélie - Petite Chérie pattern by Gingermelon
Amélie is a one-of-a-kind heirloom doll who was lovingly hand made in my doll workshop over several days. Her body consists of beige broadcloth, and her facial features are hand embroidered and touched up with Prismacolor coloured pencils and powdered blush. She is a posable doll with flexible joints at her knees and elbows.
Amélie is dressed in a removable custom sewn blue jersey shirt and white tutu skirt, and underneath is a pair of white undies sewn from stretchy jersey fabric. Her outfit is accessorized with white lace jersey socks, hand sewn blue felt shoes styled with tiny blue flowers, and a pom-pom hat.
She stands 27 cm (or 11 inches) tall.
This sweet beauty is currently seeking a home where she can be loved and cherished without being subjected to rough play, as she is not intended to withstand the rigours of being a plaything for small children. She is best suited to be a display item, as some of the removable pieces of her accessories are somewhat fragile. She is not machine washable.
