Amelia Hatfield
This sweet "Saskatchewan proud" prairie girl was made in my doll workshop over several days. Her body consists of pink broadcloth, and she is dressed in a removable custom sewn purple pinafore dress, yellow bloomers, and a sparkly apron dress. Her distinctive pioneer look is accessorized with a pretty yellow bonnet, along with a hand-sewn felt basket that's filled with tiny paper flowers. Amelia stands approximately 33 cm (or 13 inches) in height.
Amelia's facial features were hand embroidered and painted with fabric paint, and her hair is a soft white wool yarn, sewn into a braided chignon. Her purple (unremovable) felt shoes were hand-sewn.
Please note that Amelia is not designed as a toy that can withstand the rough play of small children. She is a delicate little lady and can best serve as a display item for doll adorers of all ages.
