Hattie Sutton
This very special pioneer beauty hails from the Canadian prairies and was made in my doll workshop over several days. She is dressed in a custom sewn pinafore dress and bloomers, and her apron dress represents the colours of the Saskatchewan flag. Her hand-sewn felt basket is filled with the province's official flower: the Western Red Lilly. Hattie stands approximately 33 cm (or 13 inches) in height.
Hattie's body is made from beige broadcloth, and her facial features were hand painted with fabric paint. Her hair is a soft beige wool yarn separated into pigtails, and atop her head is a custom fitted bonnet. Her green (unremovable) felt shoes were hand-sewn.
Please note that Hattie is not designed as a toy that can withstand the rough play of small children. She is a delicate little lady and can best serve as a display item for doll adorers of all ages.
