This very special retro housewife doll was made in my doll workshop over several days. She is dressed in a custom sewn dress and apron and headscarf, and underneath is wearing a pair of underwear made from white felt. Maude stands approximately 33 cm (or 13 inches) in height.


Maude's body is made from beige broadcloth, and her facial features, oversized eye-glasses, and copper sandals were hand painted with fabric paint. The hair peeking out from her (sewn on) headscarf is a soft white wool yarn.


Please note that Maude is not designed as a toy that can withstand the rough play of small children. She is a delicate little lady and can best serve as a display item for doll adorers of all ages.
